DIGI-YOU Results: Empowering Youth Workers with a New Digital Toolkit

IKReON is proud to release the official result of our project: the “DIGI-YOU: Digital Toolkit for Youth Workers.”
After an intensive week of co-creation, testing, and validation with 20 youth workers, NGO leaders, and facilitators from across Europe, IKReON is excited to share the intellectual output of the DIGI-YOU project. This digital publication is not just a report of what happened—it is a practical manual designed for youth workers and organizations looking to modernize their daily operations and confidently navigate the digital age.
Participants: 20 (18+)
Countries: SK • RO • IT • FR • GR • EE
Location: Ružomberok, Slovakia
Key Output: Digital Toolkit + Youthpass
What Participants Achieved
- Digital Fluency & Creativity: Participants transformed traditional youth work methods by mastering virtual collaboration tools (like Miro and Trello), digital storytelling, and applying gamification principles to create engaging educational experiences.
- Harnessing GenAI: International teams learned how to write effective prompts to leverage Generative AI for strategic NGO planning, content creation, and simulating project management scenarios—saving valuable administrative time.
- Security & Strategy: Through practical hackathons and expert-led sessions, participants audited their organizational websites, built actionable social media strategies, and explored secure data management tools to protect sensitive information when working
Finalization & Recognition
The mobility concluded with a collaborative reflection session where youth workers consolidated their shared experiences and planned future cross-border initiatives. All acquired digital and soft skills competences were documented and recognized through the Youthpass self-assessment.

We are releasing the “DIGI-YOU: Digital Toolkit for Youth Workers”, a practical collection of digital tools, AI applications, prompts, and methodologies tested during the project. Youth workers and educators can easily adapt these resources to streamline their own NGOs and better engage digitally-native youth.
The toolkit has been shared via the Erasmus+ Project Results and SALTO-YOUTH platforms.
