MYTHIC: New Skills for the People Behind Youth Work
Who supports the people who support young people? In May 2026, in Ružomberok, 24 youth workers from eight countries are coming together to answer that question — and to build the tools to do it better.
We are proud to announce the launch of “MYTHIC — Mobilizing Youth Training on Holistic Innovation & Critical Thinking” (Project number: 2025-2-SK02-KA153-YOU-000366592), our latest Erasmus+ Mobility of Youth Workers project, created to strengthen how youth workers nurture inclusive innovation, critical thinking, and active citizenship among the young people they serve.
Who & Where
In May 2026, IKReON will welcome 24 youth workers — three from each partner — from Slovakia, Italy, Austria, France, Georgia, Spain, Poland, and Ukraine to Ružomberok. For six intensive days, practitioners from a range of backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, will train together, exchange methods, and co-create new tools.

- The project runs from December 2025 to October 2026 (10 months).
- The six-day training course takes place in Ružomberok on 12–17 May 2026.
What is going to happen?
Six themed days — Foundations of Inclusive Entrepreneurship; Turn-Key Mindsets; Think, Check, Act; GenAI & Digital-Creativity Sprint; Local-Lab Design & Impact Planning; Showcase & Closing — tackle a challenge youth workers meet across Europe: how to turn good intentions into inclusive, future-ready activities that reach every young person.
What we aim for
MYTHIC equips youth workers with practical methods across three areas — inclusive innovation, critical thinking & media literacy, and civic engagement — and sends them home with a ready-to-use toolkit. Participants validate their learning through Youthpass and a MYTHIC Facilitator Open Badge, then put it to work with young people in their own communities.
